How to Partition Hard Drive Without Formating Drives

Hello friends, today i am going to tell you that how to partition hard drive without formating drives. At the time of installation of window, we make partiton of hard drive according to our need but sometimes we didn't get satisfied. So most of the people install the window again for re-parition. But now you don't need to install the window again. You can make parition without install the window or formating the hard drive. So just follow my steps:-


STEP 1.) At first go to CONTROL PANEL

Step 2.) Then click on ADMINSTRATIVE TOOLS

Step 3.) Then click on COMPUTER MANAGEMENT

A New Window get opened as shown in the below given image.

Step 4.) Now click on STORAGE

Step 5.) Now open the DISK MANAGEMENT

Step 6.) Now for making parition, just right click any of the drive and select SHRINK VOLUME

Step 7.) Now ENTER THE AMOUNT OF SPACE IN MB & then click on SHRINK

Now you will see that your new drive get created and the shrink MB get deducted from the selected drive without losing any data or formating the drive.
